A Rose Is a Rose

Her Name is Rose~ Rose Burns. She's the daughter of my friend Sybil Cohn-Burns & Dr. Mike Burns of Cherry Hill, N.J. .Sister to Jesse & Julia. Friend to Matthew and I... She has PWS~Prader-Willie Syndrome...Its what she has NOT what (or who) she is....Her favorite thing to read about is "Anne Frank", You know the Jewish girl who was killed in Germany during the holocaust.Rose wanted to go to Amsterdam to visit the "Anne Frank Huis" its her dream of a lifetime....Mom contacted the "Make A Wish Foundation" and put things in motion. Not Only did Rose get her wish, the whole family got to go.For "9" days!!!! And Not Just Amsterdam.They also went to Paris and London. Sybil took this picture( Mike, Rose & Jesse) actually in London but it just struck me that it very well could have been taken in the "Anne Frank Huis" . Its one of my favorite that was taken and I wanted to share it.....Oddly I've never read the "Diary of Anne Frank"
but Rose Has inspired me to do more that "know "ABOUT" the story but to READ it and Feel it!

The Big C.....

THE BIG C.....Doc's sister Donna found out yesterday that she has Renal Cell Carcinoma......Whats, what yet~ I don't know. Guess we just have to wait til she knows more...But it doesn't look good..And she's not very optimistic...THIS SUCKS!

A Lil Crafting.....

Now that I've become a New Orleans Saints fan I decided after visiting "Michael's Craft Store", I had to incorporate the Saints and Halloween.... BTW, Saints beat Tampa Bay...we're now 4-1.......
